Quick Submodality Interventions
There are many, many quick submodality patterns in NLP, from playing circus music in the background of a problem experience to quick dissociation, and even spinning using DSR. When dealing with an issue at the behavioral level, these quick processes can be a powerful, instant change. It is important to keep in mind the ecology of a process. For example, if a person is in a physically abusive situation, quick submodality patterns may or may not have enough ecology built in to use with the person. Making an abusive memory feel good might not be desired or beneficial, yet flexibility to get out of or deal with the abuse would be a better place to tap.
